Harold B. "Sparky" Stewart Jr., age 72, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025. Born on July 18, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sparky was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Esther Stewart Sr., and his brother, Samuel Stewart.
Sparky is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Georgia Chewning Stewart, and his precious daughter, Ashlyn Stewart. He is also fondly remembered by his nieces, Sydney Stewart Mading (Ian) and Delaney Stewart, as well as his great-nephews, Cash and Kingston Mading, and his great-niece, Presley Mading, who brought him much pride and joy.
Sparky was known for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and kind and loving heart. He found immense joy in music, especially playing the drums. He cherished time at the lake and the beach, enjoying countless happy moments with family and friends while boating, fishing, and flying. His passion for flying reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the skies.
A memorial service to celebrate Sparky's life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory, with Dr. Frank Cox officiating. Family and friends are invited to honor his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. A visitation will begin at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Sparky's legacy lives on in the countless memories he created and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
