Harry Orlean Roy Stuck Jr.

Harry Orlean Roy Stuck, Jr., age 102, passed away peacefully at his home in Rolla, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family, on December 7, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1923, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Harry Orlean Roy Stuck Sr. and Bessie Stuck.

A proud veteran of World War II, Harry bravely served his country and received two Purple Hearts, along with numerous ribbons and commendations recognizing his dedication and sacrifice. He landed overseas on D-Day and fought at the Battle of the Bulge. His military service was a defining chapter in his life, and he carried that courage, resilience, and sense of duty into everything he did.

Harry will be remembered above all for his unwavering devotion to his family. For decades, he has been the steady presence his loved ones could always rely on-whether offering a helping hand, giving his time and effort, or simply listening when it was needed most. His generous heart and giving spirit touched countless lives, and his quiet acts of kindness will remain a cherished legacy.

He is survived by his children, Roy Allen Stuck and wife Cheryl of Rolla, Missouri; Mary Rachelle "Shelly" Moss and husband Kent of Rolla, Missouri; and David Stuck and wife Kelly of Rolla, Missouri. He is also survived by his sisters, Jeanine Hughes (David) of Rolla and Rhonda Combs (Gerald) of Rolla; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear family friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn Marie Stuck; his parents, Harry Orlean-Roy Stuck, Sr. and Bessie Stuck; his son, Joel S. Martin; his daughter, Kathy Stuck; and his sister, Mary Ellen Krouse and one grandson John Martin, and one great grand-son Zackary Wagnon.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at 12:00 p.m. at James & Gahr Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri. Interment will follow at Lake Spring Cemetery in Lake Springs, Missouri, with Full Military Honors.

Harry Orlean Roy Stuck, Jr.'s life was a testament to service, strength, and love. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
