Hipolito Saucedo Olivas, 85, of Clayton NM, passed away on 05/06/25 in Las Cruces, NM.
Hipolito well known as "Polo" was born in the state of Durango, Mexico, to Anacleto Saucedo & Carmen Olivas on 8/13/1939. He married 3 times, Micaela Saucedo, Elaine Olivas and Patricia Olivas. He worked as a Farm hand/cowboy for various farms in Clayton, NM as well as a welder for southwest metal works. He worked for Five States Livestock Auction until retiring. He was involved and well known in the community in Clayton NM until he moved to Las Cruces in 2018. He was a friend to his neighbors and loved by many. Touching hearts of many in Las Cruces who will miss him dearly.
Hipolito Saucedo Olivas is proceeded in death by Anacleto Saucedo, Carmen Olivas, Ignacio Saucedo Olivas, Ignacia Saucedo Olivas, Atanasio Saucedo Olivas, Gillermina Saucedo Olivas, Marcelino Saucedo Olivas, Hipolito Jr. Saucedo Saucedo.
Polo is survived by his children Manuela, Sandra, Jorge, Alberto (Claudia). Grandchildren Erika Guadalupe, Cindy Joanna, Jennifer Paloma, Dalia, Victoria, Julio Rogelio, Gustavo, Liliana, also by his nephew Marcelino (Guadalupe) and great nieces and nephews, Yvette (Keenen), Nicholas (Galilea), Annette (Zach), Ameraya, Elias, Alaina, Anthony, Yaritza, Nicholas Jr, Nydia, Lena and Adonis.
