Hunter Allen, 28, a lifetime resident of Jonesboro, died Monday, February 12, 2024. He was a member of the Word Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He loved being outdoors spending time hunting, especially duck hunting. Spending time with his family and his children was very important to him. He had a way of making everybody around laugh and smile. He and Ryann were high school sweethearts from 15 – 18 years old, then reunited 10 years later. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Daisy Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Ryann Allen of the home; sons, Gavin Allen of Lake City; Declan Masterson, Larson Masterson; daughters, Paisley Gibson; Olive Masterson, and Swae Allen all of the home; mother, Shelly McFarlin-Perrin of Lake City; brother, Cameron Cole of Paragould; sisters, Ashley Allen of Jonesboro; Shawna Wilson of Manila; Lauren Allen of Monette; maternal grandmother, Judy Perrin of Monette and mother-in-law, Angie Williams.
A memorial service will be 6:00 P.M., Monday night, February 19, 2024, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jamar Andrews officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers are Nathaniel Guthrie, Katun Dodd, Josh Jones, Caleb Richardson and Shaq Lockhart. Visitation will be from 5:00 until service time.
