Isaac "Ike" Norman Reynolds, 78, died at home in Spokane, WA on March 21, 2024. He was born in Spokane on September 15, 1945 to Fred O. and Laura L. Reynolds. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1963 and served in the National Guard as a medic from 1968-1974. Ike married Melinda L. Ward on August 29, 1969. He attended several colleges before graduating from Eastern Washington University in 1970 with a degree in Industrial Design and Fine Arts. His career was spent in Design at American Sign & Indicator and Premier Sports Marketing where he was VP of Creative Design, designing scoreboards and advertising systems for sports stadiums around the world.
Ike was a musician and gifted artist, working in many mediums including sculpture, metalwork welding, and woodworking. He was an innovative thinker, frequently sharing his latest idea and always drawing something up! Ike loved having his family nearby, including his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lexie Prewitt. He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda; his brother, Pete (Jackie) Reynolds; his three children, Nicole McKenzie, Joshua (Cathy) Reynolds, and Heather Wiwatowski; his three grandchildren, Justine (Mike) Sichel, Amelie and Asher Reynolds; and his two great-grandchildren, Delilah and Honey Sichel.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ike's name to SCRAPS. A celebration of life for Ike will be held at the family farm at a later date.
