James Clayton Goin, born July 5, 1954, in Manchester, TN, to the late Jim Goin and Virginia O'Kelley Goin, passed away on February 28, 2025. James was a devoted family man, a skilled mechanic, and a lover of simple joys, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
James is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deloris Ann Goin, and his father, Jim Goin. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Goin; his sister, Debbie Anderson husband Wayne; his children, Ray Goin wife Katherine, Jennifer Brandon husband Chris; his cherished grandchildren, Taylor Goin, Travis Goin, Thomas Goin, Madison Coley and her husband Noah, and Katelin Goin; his two great-grandchildren, Riley and Ryker, and his grand-dog Karma, who brought him much joy.
James had a deep love for his family, often spending his days surrounded by them. He also dearly enjoyed working in the yard, mowing the lawn, and spending time with his grand-dog Karma. As a mechanic, he spent his life dedicated to fixing and creating, always offering a helping hand to those in need.
James's warm heart and hardworking spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will remember him fondly for his kindness, generosity, and the quiet strength he displayed in everything he did.
