James L. Haseman

James L. Haseman, 72, of Janesville, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Mercy Hospital.
He was born on July 8, 1952 in Beloit, WI, the son of Louis and Fae (Welsh) Haseman. Jim graduated from South Beloit High School in 1970. He married Lonnie (Sowles) Haseman on March 23, 1970 in St. Louis, MO. She predeceased him on September 29, 2020.
Jim was formerly employed by Chrysler for 31 years until his retirement. He volunteered for RECAP Gardens, Rotary Gardens, and was a former master gardener. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the cabin up north in La Farge, WI. He was just a pretty awesome guy. Jim enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and baseball. He looked forward to the annual "snowbowl" volleyball each year on January 1st with his family. Jim enjoyed playing Euchre and other card games in his free time.
Survivors include his children, Jess Haseman and Luke (Dana Pierce) Haseman; siblings, Louis (Sue) Haseman, Jody Zumwalt, Carol (Gary) Heaney, and Abbie Haseman-Sheldon; his special friend, Barbara Buchanan; many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Lonnie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI with Rev. Patrick E. Pierce officiating. Inurnment will be in Shopiere Cemetery. A Visitation of Remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
