James Kenneth Nix, 68, of Concord, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at his home in Concord, North Carolina.
James was born May 31, 1957 in North Carolina to the late James Kenneth Nix Sr. and Sara Gladys Argo. James was also preceded in death by son Michael Nix.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-4pm,on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Drive, Concord, North Carolina, 28025. Military honors will be held at 3:30pm.
Survivors include wife, Brenda Jean Nix, mother, Sara Gladys Argo (Harold Argo) son, James Kevin Nix, daughter, Karen Dejong , as well as siblings Ty Hardister, Toren Nix, Barry Nix, and Tanna Nix.
James was in the Unites States Airforce for 18 years and worked with computers in communications, having a tour over in Italy was one of his favorite highlights in the military. Most recently worked in Security for Securitas. James was an avid artist and loved doing charactures and drawing murals for friends and family.
