James Saine Obituary

A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Estates, Grifton.
James, son of the late Tate and Lola Loggins Saine, was born in Gainesville, GA. He lived most of his early life in Abbeville, SC. He had made his home in Pitt County since 1994 and was employed as an electrical engineer at Weyerhaeuser until his retirement. He was a member of Elm Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a son, Tony Saine, sisters, Sue Ashley and Genoa Kushman, and a brother, Carl Saine.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dorothy Frizzelle Saine; daughter, Vanessa Spivey of Abbeville, SC; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and sisters, Ida Carpenter and husband, Hank and Pat Cash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elm Gove Free Will Baptist Church, 5413 Weyerhaueser Road, Ayden, NC 28513.
