Janet Louise Beutel, 88, of Rocky River, Ohio, passed away on November 2, 2024. Born on March 26, 1936, to the late Kenneth and Leona Owens, Janet lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community.
In 1954, Janet married the love of her life, William J. Beutel, who preceded her in death in 2019. Together, they shared a beautiful journey, often traveling to their second home in Arizona, creating cherished memories along the way.
Janet is survived by her devoted son, Kenneth (Constance) Beutel, and her beloved grandchildren: Corinne (Steve) Moskal, Alexander (Edwige) Beutel, Gregory (Sarah) Beutel, and Meredith (Lew Holder) Beutel-Holder. She was a proud great-grandmother to Grace, Liam, Julian, and Hazel. Janet was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger (Shirley) Owens.
A talented seamstress, Janet's creativity and skill were evident in the heart pillows she lovingly made for cardiac patients. Her fun, wisdom, and wit knew no bounds. She was devoted to the Christian faith, and a member of the Red Hat Society. Janet was also an avid Cleveland Guardians fan, always cheering on her favorite team.
Janet's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at the Rocky River Presbyterian Church, 21750 Detroit Road, Rocky River, Ohio 44116 on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

I worked w/ Janet thru the Westlake Senior Center/ St. John´s Hospital to make heart pillows for breast cancer patients. She worked tirelessly for years to provide enough pillows for patients. She loved to talk about her family, especially great grandchildren gave her such joy. Linda Caster
