Janet K. Leonard, 75, of Plainfield, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2024. She was born on December 4, 1948 in Plainfield to the late Clarence and Opal Wilson. Janet was an Administrative Secretary for the State Of Indiana. She enjoyed line dancing, playing cards and other games. Janet loved the Lord and spending time with her family was her life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Chandler; sisters, Marie Gray and Iva Myers. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband, Dean Leonard; daughters, Penny (Mark) Osborne, Lana (David) Moore and Michele (Larry) Faulk; grandchildren, Kimberly, Sheila (Josh), Heather (Phil), Andy (Lisa), Katie (Mike), Brandi, Amber (Calum), Valerie, Stacy, and Larry Jr.; 13 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org/donate
