Janie Leona Doyle, 80, passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Danville, Arkansas. She was born on January 3, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to Entus and Mary Williamson.
Janie found joy in the simple beauty of the world around her. She loved birds and always made sure they were fed and cared for. She had a remarkable green thumb — her gardens flourished under her touch, and plants were one of her greatest passions. She was also a gifted artist who loved to draw, often capturing the things she loved most.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Magnolia, where she found fellowship and faith.
Janie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Stephens; her son, James Brian Doyle; and her grandchildren, Miranda and Brynner. She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Kennedy, Mattie Carlin, and Emily Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jewel, brothers Willie, Tommy and her beloved husband, James Dwight Doyle.
Janie will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, love of nature, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life.
