Jarvis Belton, born on February 13, 1986, in Fort Riley, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family. He was 39 years old.
Jarvis was a proud and loving father to his cherished daughter, Jariyah Belton, who was the light of his life. He is deeply mourned by his devoted parents, Carlos and Claudia Matamoros, who will miss him beyond words.
He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers: Carlos Matamoros III, Christian Matamoros, and Theodore Barley, his amazing sister-in-law Aree Matamoros, and his significant other, Samantha Womack, whose bond with him was full of love and mutual respect.
For the past 10 years, Jarvis dedicated himself to his work with the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) as a skilled and dependable meatcutter. His work ethic, kindness, and sense of humor left an impact on all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Jarvis was a man of strength, quiet compassion, and fierce love for his family. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will live on through his daughter and the many lives he touched.
The family asks for continued prayers during this time of immense grief as they prepare to carry on his legacy through his daughter, Jariyah.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Chapel of Angels, 1430 Thornton Street.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Muffley Funeral Home. www.muffleyfuneralhome.com, (575)762-4435.
