Passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the age of 57. Born on May 31st 1968 in Pontiac, Michigan, to Wallace and Patricia (Pfahlert) Ice. First born of the two boys they would have, granting Jeff the middle name of Edward passed down by tradition from father to first born son. After finishing his last year of high school studying in Australia He returned home and Graduated from Clarkston High School class of '86. His stay at home was short lived as he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany, where he served honorably from 1986 to 1989. Following his honorable discharge, Jeff attended Oakland Community College and received his associate's degree in culinary arts. Shaping the next chapter of his life.

Jeff spent over 30 years working in the culinary arts industry perfecting his passion, during which time he met the love of his life Erin McMann and they married in July of 2000. A couple months later they welcomed their son Keeghan. For the last 6 years Jeff has worked for the Department of Correction helping rehabilitate inmates by teaching them the craft of cooking. Jeff's talents extended beyond his professional life. He loved cooking breakfast for his family on Sunday mornings, he is known in the family for his homemade Mac N cheese recipe that is cherished by anyone who had the privilege to try it. Jeff was an avid Golfer and enjoyed spending time out on the course with his family. He also enjoyed the family trips to the casino and the thrill at the blackjack table, a hobby that brought him financial reward more times than we can count. When Jeff wasn't enjoying his time at the casino and playing a round of on the course he enjoyed taking the time during the colder winter months to go down and soak up some sun while getting to spend some much needed family time with his mom.

Jeff's loving heart is reflected in the people he leaves behind. He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Erin Ice; son, Keeghan (Emily) Ice; mother, Patricia Ouellette; brother, Mark (Crystal) Ice; a brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Wallace Ice; and step-father, Jerry Ouellette.

A memorial service will be held for Jeff at 11:00AM on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Sycamore Creek Church. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Mother Teresa House, 308 N.
