Julius Wayne Brotherton
Lansing, Michigan
Passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Born August 1, 1937 to Julius and Inez (Wallace) Brotherton in Kennett, Missouri. Known fondly by his friends and family as JB and leaves behind a legacy of loyalty and hard work. Julius was a graduate of Lansing Eastern High School class of 1956. He went on to honorably served in the US Army from 1956-1962. Julius spent the majority of his career as a dedicated supervisor for the State of Michigan, retiring in 1997 after many years of loyal service. He was not only talented at his job, but also in his hobbies. A skilled craftsman, Julius spent many hours building and repairing muzzleloaders, a hobby that complemented his membership in the Lansing Muzzleloading Gun Club.
