Fitchburg – Jeffrey A. Camber, 55, of Fitchburg, MA, passed away at home on June 1st, 2025.
Jeff was born in Fitchburg on December 11, 1969, the son of John Camber Sr. and Sally (Beaulac) Emma.
He was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School, where he studied carpentry. He grew up most of his life in Townsend, where he served on the Townsend Fire Department for 10 years. Jeff had several jobs throughout life, Suburban Gardens, owned and operated his own business, Camber Trucking, the Townsend Highway Department for 12 years, his most recent and current job at STI Precast in Leominster.
Jeff enjoyed many activities including, snowmobiling, fishing, NASCAR, shuffleboard, cornhole, horseshoes, but most of all he loved camping.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandra (Eggleston) Camber; one brother, John Camber, Jr. and his wife Lori of Peyton, CO; two sisters, Nancy Boyer and her husband Russell of Ashby and Jessye Metivier of Townsend; sister-in-law Marie Wood and her husband Michael of Gilmanton, NH; sister-in-law Terry Eggleston of Townsend. Jeff also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all the greats.
Calling hours will be held in the Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Townsend, on Thursday, June 12, from 4-7pm. Jeff's funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13 at 9:30am in Saint Johns Church, 1 School St., Townsend, followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to the Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center 275 Nichols Rd., Fitchburg, MA 01420.

Sandy, my deepest sympathy to you. I am so heartbroken that Jeff lost his battle against this awful disease. He was such a mild mannered man and will be sorely missed. I can't help but smile when I think of the Xmas he asked for a smix smenter. He sort of followed in that line of work. God speed Jeff. RIP. Love, Aunt Joyce
