Jennifer Cupples Obituary

Jenny was born in Detroit in 1953 and was raised and educated in Oakland County. She was a natural athlete and excelled in many sports. As a child, she could hit the baseball the farthest of anyone in her neighborhood. She was on the tennis team in college. She also enjoyed teaching and coaching the sport.
She received her BA in Human Resources and Recreation at Oakland University in 1975. Upon graduating, she was hired as the assistant director of Troy Parks and Recreation. Then went on to run her own wellness business. She loved to be in management and to be in charge.
In her retirement, she found Alpena and enjoyed the area. She decided to make it her home.
Jenny is survived by two sisters, three nephews, and family members.
She will be remembered by her family as fun, beautiful, athletic, and intelligent.
There will be a private celebration of her life with her immediate family.
