Jenny was in the graduating class of 1997 at Boonville High School. Jenny was married to the love of her life, Eric Michael Mullen. They were married, September 14, 2017 and were blessed with 12 years together.
Jenny was passionate about substance abuse recovery and had plans to become a recovery coach. Jenny was an active member of AA/NA meetings and was always willing to advocate and coach others in their recovery. Jenny was a member of Word of Life Church as well as attended The Gathering.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother, Kelly Ann Ashby and mater grandmother and best friend, Francis McHugh. Paternal grandmother, Sybil LaPointe.
Jenny is survived by her father Richard LaPointe (Sharon) and step-father Greg Ashby. Husband Eric, son Ian Barker (Deznee) and daughter, AzLeigh Young. Sisters, Lacy Young and Jacquelyne Ashby. Brothers Charles "Logan" Ashby, Casey LaPointe, and Jacob LaPointe. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles that all loved her.
Funeral Services will be held 11 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN, 4771 with Pastor Jeff Stanton officiating. Visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
