Jeremie Edward Banfield

Jeremie Banfield passed away peacefully on March 26, 2022, at the age of 33. He is survived by his mother and father, his five siblings including his two sisters Haley Bowens and Kayla Bowens and his grandmother Judy Figueroa.
He was born in Oberlin, Ohio on September 2, 1988. He was raised by his mother, Joy Banfield, in Ohio until they moved to Tampa, Florida when he was 13 years old. He loved living in Florida especially the beaches. He loved going to the beach anytime he had the chance. He moved back to Ohio in his late 20s and spent time with his sisters, father and other family members. In February 2022 he moved back to Florida to be with his mother in Pensacola until his passing. She did not get to spend too much time with him but the time she did get is filled with many fun and happy moments.
Jeremie was a goofy, smart, and a loving person. He loved to have deep conversations with anyone! You'd be guaranteed to get a good laugh as well. Music was very important to him and the music he loved has a strong message. He wrote and sang his truth through the music he made. Jeremie was truly one of a kind. He spread positivity and shed light on all our lives. He was a bundle of joy. Always found the joyous things in every situation! Jeremie was someone who loved his family very much. His connections to his family members were so important to him and he did what he could to keep them close.
In the last year of his life, he became a born again Christian. He loved God very much and made sure to share that love with everyone he spoke to. He would say anything good in his life was a blessing from God and that included the music he wrote and sang. He would say that it is God's words flowing through him. He is just the vessel. Everywhere he went he was either singing his songs or listening to them for inspiration because he was fill with so much joy with how God changed his life around. Unfortunately, in the last few days of his life his faith was not strong enough to prevent his old demons from coming back into his and he lost the fight with them. I know God has forgiven him and Jeremie is truly at peace now.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
