Jerry Allen Frizzell

Jerry Allen Frizzell Sr., age 87, of Milton, Florida passed away, Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
Jerry was born on July 31, 1935, to parents Edgar Arvel and Amy Mae Frizzell in Arkansas. He graduated from Santa Rosa County Institute in 1960. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a retired Monsanto employee with 33 years of service; and a Captain for the City of Milton Police Auxiliary for 21 years. He was a member at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and later attended First Baptist Church of Milton, Florida.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, and a devoted man of God. He married Shirley Jean Linzy in 1957 and they had a wonderful 65 years together; having 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren with another one on the way. He loved fishing, serving fellow members of the church, and woodworking out back in his shed. He was a humble and loving man with a great sense of humor.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Arvel and Amy Mae Frizzell; his brothers, James William Frizzell and Curtis Wayne Frizzell; his sisters-in-law, Lorette Ellis, Betty Linzy, and Gilda Frizzell.
He is survived by the love of his life, Shirley Jean Frizzell; his sons, Allen Frizzell and Curt (Amy) Frizzell; his grandchildren, Ryan (Rosemary) Frizzell; Caitlyn Frizzell, Clayton Frizzell and Cheyanne (Nate) Williams; his great-grandchildren, Marilyn, and Ethan Frizzell and Quenlin Williams coming in March.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM Sunday October 23, 2022, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 Milton, Florida 32570, followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM, with Brother David Spencer officiating. Interment will be at Memory Park Cemetery.
The family is grateful to all the doctors and nurses who took such great care of our beloved husband, father, and pawpaw over the last year. The family wishes to especially thank the staff of Pruitt Health- Santa Rosa and Covenant Hospice for the love and care given to Jerry during his last few months.
