Jerry Edward Yeomans

Jerry Edward Yeomans, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at the age of 76, at his residence. Born on March 30, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida, Jerry was a proud resident of Saint Johns, Florida, where he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and community. A graduate of Bishop Kenney High School in 1967, Jerry continued his education at the University of South Florida, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing in 1971. His career began with the Pillsbury Corporation, where he demonstrated his exceptional talent in sales in Orlando and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He later became the proprietor of his own window treatment company, American Window Fashions, which he operated successfully for a decade during the 1990s. Prior to retiring, he was a Sales Rep. for Kenworth Trucks. In a twist of fate, it was on the greens of the Cimarrone Golf Club that Jerry met the love of his life, Casey Webb. They married on July 3, 1995, and enjoyed many joyful years together in the Cimarrone Golf Club community. Jerry's passion for woodworking was matched only by his love for golf; it was through these hobbies that he fostered deep connections with friends and family. Jerry was a gentle giant and a gentle man. He was very intelligent, obstinate, but always fun. An active member of Creekside Christian Church, Jerry was known for his warm spirit and generosity. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love, hard work, and community spirit. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Casey Yeomans; his daughters, Maryanne Sheils and her husband Billy of St. Augustine, Kelly Legler and her husband Christian of Wayne, NE, Katy Nice and her husband Jamie of Asheville, NC; his sister, Susan Yeomans Sams and her husband Jack and brother, Bill Yeomans and his wife Stacy, all of Jacksonville; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Amelia Legler, Alexis Legler, Coady Sheils, Mary Sheils, and Charlie Sheils and a host of extended family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Creekside Christian Church, 92 Lifespring Way, Saint Johns, FL 32259 where family and friends will gather to celebrate his legacy and remember the profound impact he made in their lives.
