Jessica Corrine Goerke

Mrs. Jessica (Jessi) Goerke, age 41, Ormond Beach, FL, passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Orlando Advent on October 24, 2024. Known by her family as Jessi, she grew up in Holly Hill making lifelong friends while attending Holly Hill Elementary, Holly Hill Middle School and Mainland High School where she graduated in 2001. She loved country music, watching her son play baseball and spending time with family & friends. She married the love of her life Josh in 2004, and they welcomed a son, Chase, in 2012, who became the center of her world. One of her greatest joys was watching her son grow up and play baseball. Jessi cherished her Pine Trail family where she was the school secretary.
She was cherished by many, as a devoted friend and family member, and an individual always ready to extend a helping hand. She could always be relied upon to provide companionship, guidance, and support to those she cared for. Her loving spirit and unyielding determination will forever be engraved in our hearts.
Jessica Goerke will be deeply missed, but her memories will linger on, preserved by the love and admiration of those who cherished her. We celebrate a life well-lived, even as we mourn her loss, we honor her legacy by striving to emulate her strength of spirit and enduring warmth. As we say our final goodbyes to Jessica Goerke, we remember the laughter, the strength, and the love she shared unconditionally.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Josh Goerke; son, Chase Goerke; father John McCabe; stepmother, Kelly McCabe; sisters, Taylor McCabe and Jenna McCabe; grandparents, Nancy Murphy, Henry Murphy, and Sylvia Kempf; father and mother in law; Mark and Cheryl Goerke; brother and sister in law, Mitch and Melissa Goerke; niece, Briannah; nephew, Blake; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Leslie McCabe; and grandparents, John J. McCabe, Marilyn and Robert York, and Joseph Kempf.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A Funeral Service officiated by Dr. Reverend Wiley Lowe at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
