Monday morning December 11th 2023 at Backus Hospital in Norwich,
Jessica "Jess" Lynn "Burns" Warren has peacefully left us and is now with her Dad as he held out his arms, to welcome her home.
Jess, 45, born April 16, 1978, at Backus Hospital in Norwich, daughter of, predeceased Joseph E Burns the lll of Norwich, and Cindy L Champagne of Lebanon.
Jessica, being a graduate of 1996, resided in Preston and worked at Curtains Transportation in Waterford, where she loved taking care of others.
Jessica loved her family and being with them, she enjoyed attending Yankee games and sporting events, she had a passion for music and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Let's always remember Jess and never forget her kind loving heart and beautiful soul, she wore her heart on her sleeve, always smiling, she could light up a room with her beautiful smile, and her contagious fun, goofy laugh.
Jessica was loved by many and leaves behind;
Two children son Dylan Douglas Scott, 27 of New York,
daughter Meadow Alyssa Warren, 18 of Preston.
Mother Cindy L Champagne of Lebanon, Sister Jennifer Burns and Fiancé Larry Lee of Lebanon.
Meme Bette and (step) Grandad Rance Hadaway of SC. Uncle Paul Burns Sr. of Norwich, Uncle Jerry Champagne of IL. Aunt Lynn (Bob) Frink of Noank. Aunt Sandy Champagne of Ledyard, Uncle Tommy (Phyillis) Champagne of Salem.
Cousins; Sonya Davis of Norwich, Janice Frink of Noank, Brian Burns of PA, Paul Burns Jr of VA, April Champagne of IL, Noel Champagne of FL, Chanel (Andrew) McCoy of Waterford.
Niece Trina Lee and Nephew Carson Burns of Lebanon.
2nd Cousins; Gavin D'Amato, Rhiannon Burns and Bronson Burns of PA and Rhodes McCoy of Waterford.
and One Grandchild.
Deceased; Father: Joseph (Josh) Edward Burns lll, Grandparent's Joseph and Madeline Burns, Pepe Roland Champagne, Dave Burns, Carrol Burns, Brenda Champagne and her two brothers.
Services will be held on December 22nd 2023 at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Norwich at 10am.
Reception to follow at Park Church, 283 Broadway in Norwich.

I´ve just heard about Jess´s passing. I am so sorry to her family and friends. She was such a joy at school, you could hear her laugh down the hallways. You could see the joy she had for life. Rest in Paradise Jess

I have so many I can´t even think of them. She was so funny. She was awesome person to talk to you. I love the fact that I was related to her and got to enjoy the life that I did with her.

My lil baby cuz Jess I will always remember times babysitting you and your gorgeous curly red-hair. You will be so missed by your huge family who loved you so dearly. I'm so happy I have beautiful memories to cherish with you and our families. Love you and will forever have you tight in my heart May God Bless my family in this sad time Rock the heaven Jess I'm mad I didn't call you couple weeks ago, but it's til we meet again!
