Jimmy McKitrick Obituary
Jimmy Oland McKitrick of Roebuck, SC passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 21, 1948 to the late James and Rozelle Oakes McKitrick.
After earning his GED, Jimmy joined Hoechst Celanese Fibers in their Research and Development Department. He was a devoted Christian and long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Roebuck. Jimmy was also a huge fan of car racing, especially NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria Kathleen Boatman McKitrick and son, Jimmy Lee McKitrick. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Gloria Dee McKitrick; and brothers, Woodrow McKitrick and Donald McKitrick.
Family will receive visitors Sunday, August 24, 2025, 2:00-4:00 PM at 5220 Hwy 221, Roebuck, SC 29376.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Monday, August 25, 2025, conducted by Frankie Taylor, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
