She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Daniel Pagano, her children John (Traci), Daniel Jr.(Gretchen), Joanna (Brian) Lamboy, and her grandchildren, Shawn (Amanda), Gabriella, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas and soon to be great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Carla Ahlers. She is also survived by her four siblings, Angelo (Judy), Carl (Nancy), Christine and Roberta.

A graduate of Suffern High School, Jo-Ann began her career working in her family's bridal shop before venturing into business with her husband to open a Hallmark Card store in Chester, NY. Later, she enjoyed a career as a poker supervisor at Foxwoods Casino and Twin Rivers Casino, where her sharp wit, humor, and approachable personality made her a favorite among colleagues and players alike. After retiring, she lovingly devoted herself to caring for her husband.

Jo-Ann had a special love for the beach, which she fondly referred to as her "happy place." She also cherished time spent with friends and family, particularly attending her grandchildren's events.
