Joan Bruseo Obituary
Mine Hill: Joan M. Bruseo passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at home on Thursday, July 25, 2024. She was 86 years of age.
A life-long resident of Mine Hill, Joan was born in the Scrub Oaks section of Mine Hill and has lived in Mine Hill all her life. After graduating from Dover High School, she worked as an administrative assistant at Warner Lambert. She was senior administrative assistant at Stull Engraving in Succasunna. Prior to retiring in 1999, she worked part-time in the bakery department at ShopRite in Dover.
Joan was a passionate gardener and loved the outdoors, and was an award-winning bowler with The WIBC for 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Wharton, the Moose Lodge #541 and the American Legion Post #27 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Dover.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 2010.
She is survived by: her four sons:
John P. (Nancy) of Mine Hill, Joseph (Charlie) of Palmer, MA, Andrew (Karen) of Flanders and Peter (Karen) of Mine Hill.
Four Grandsons, Seven Granddaughters & Twelve Great Grandchildren.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held 1-4pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A funeral service will be held at 4pm, after the visitation, also at the funeral home.
Dontations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Amedisys Foundation, the parent company of Compassionate Care Hospice of Northern NJ at Amedisys Foundation.
