Joan Winslow, 77, born March 23, 1946, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, at Hartford Hospital. Joan lived a long and wonderful life. She is survived by her son, Craig Winslow of Frisco Texas, her sister, Marion Howard of Bolton, her brother-in-law Jim Howard also of Bolton, her niece Deborah Howard of Maine and nephew James Howard of Manchester. Born in CT, Joan attended St. James Elementary School and graduated from Manchester High School. She was a lifelong resident of Bolton, CT.
To celebrate Joan's life, please join the family for calling hours on Friday, December 8, from 4-6 p.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Willimantic.
