She was born in Logansport to Harry and Betty Heater. Jodi attended Logansport High School before joining the workforce. She spent most of her working career as an administrative assistant. She was an assistant to the Cass County Prosecutor and multiple Logansport Chief's of Police.
Jodi was a devoted mother, and her children were her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.
Jodi enjoyed travel, attending concerts, and spending time with her family. Especially to Daytona Beach, FL where many family vacations were had.
Jodi was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Heater (Crawford) and her sister Jenni Hunter (Heater). She is survived by her father Harry (Rita) Heater, husband Bruce Nicoll, three sons Addison (Brittney), Ian (Michael), and Dane (Tyler), daughter Alicia (Ryan) Jackson and two grandchildren, Camryn Nicoll and Colbie Jackson who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and details will be provided.

Jodi was a very special person. She was caring, funny and a good friend, I really enjoyed spending time with her and Bruce. My condolences to Bruce, the boys and families.

Jodi was a beautiful soul and will be missed by anyone who ever knew her. We became much closer friends in the past 20 years but we went to high school together. We never failed to have a good laugh any time we got together. My heartfelt condolences to Bruce, all her boys and her grandchildren - you all truly were the lights of her life
