John "Johnny" David Aynedjian, formerly of Paramus, NJ, presently of Astoria, NY, passed away peacefully in his home on June 5, 2023. He was 58 years young.
Born November of 1964 to Hagop and Grace Aynedjian, John spent his childhood years growing up in the Paramus area. John graduated from Paramus High School in 1982 with honors, and continued his education into adulthood. He received bachelor's degrees in computer science and physics through Rutgers University.
By day, a computer programming engineer, by night, a comedian and aspiring actor. John starred in his own character comedy "one man show" which showcased multiple colorful characters, and hosted various open mic nights throughout New York City over the years. In his later years, he also wrote multiple screen plays in his free time. Although very accomplished in his computer programming career, his true passion was in the performing arts and making people laugh. Always quick with a joke, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Survived by his devoted son David Aynedjian (Christine), cherished grandson Jacob Aynedjian, dear brother James "Jimmy" Aynedjian (Amy), his dear sister Sharon Barkdoll (Dana), his nephews Jesse Barkdoll and Nathan Barkdoll, and his niece Sierra Barkdoll.
Family and friends are welcomed at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, NJ on Saturday, June 17th from 10AM-12PM, with a service at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
