John Thomas Bolles Sr.

John Thomas Bolles, Sr., 84 of East Stroudsburg passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Jennie (Scerbo) Bolles, they were married for sixty-five years on June 30th.Born July 2, 1937, in Jersey City, New Jersey the son of the late Joseph and Grace (Haley) Bolles. He was a resident of Monroe County since 1972He was a member of the Church of Saint Matthew, East Stroudsburg. He liked to collect baseball cards and was a car show participant - winning multiple awards for his custom Built 50 merc. He also loved bow & rifle hunting. He worked for over thirty years as head of maintenance for Pocono Highlands Camp. He was predeceased by his son, Robert "Rodge" Bolles who passed December 5TH 2021.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his sons, Albie Bolles and his wife Nancy, John T. Bolles Jr. his wife Patti Lynn, his daughter Rhoda Bolles, his late son Robert's fiancé, Isabella Smith and their daughters Jennie Bolles and Brittany Crawford; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm and on Friday from 11:00am to 12:00pm with Prayer Services at 6:30pmThursday at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
