John T. Cardie Jr., "Jack", on February 16, 2023, of Mullica Hill; Age 75.
Beloved husband of Kristine Cardie (nee Knapp) for 54 years. Devoted father of Claudia Cardie, Kevin Cardie (Lori), Brian Cardie (Patti). Loving Grampie of Craig Jr. (Moth), Catherine, Colton, Jack, Tyler, Anna, Lucas, Ian. Loving Great-Grampie to Wyatt. Dear brother of Jean Scott and the late Bonnie Ecker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John proudly served in the United States army and was stationed in Germany. After retiring from Bell telephone for 35 years, he enjoyed playing golf, swimming in his pool with his grandkids, and going to and watching phillies games. He also enjoyed watching John Wayne westerns and Seinfeld reruns. His hobby was painting lead solders and creating scenes for them.
Family and Friends are invited to the viewing from 11am to 1pm Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede.
Funeral Service 1pm at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede
Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 (www.cancer.org)
