Beloved husband of Diane (and his late wife Lorraine), Devoted father of John Peter (and his wife Andrea), Michael and Juliana. Dear Cousin of Robert (and his wife Barbara) and Dennis Cohan. Loving grandfather of Jack, Luke, Cole and Grandpup Ringo.
He began his real estate career in 1993 at Mary Davis Realty in River Edge, NJ. He was the Manager/Realtor Broker Associate of Re/Max Real Estate Limited in Oradell, NJ for 31 years and was the former Principal Owner of Type Director at VPI (Visual Phototypographers Inc.) for 20 years. He was the former President of Real Source Board of Realtors from 2007-2008, former Director of NJMLS in 2024 and Director of the National Association of Realtors and the NJ Association of Realtors (NJAR) from 2007-2008.
Family and friends are invited for visitation this Thursday, May 1st from 4-8PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 2nd at 10AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RCC, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation: t2t.org For further information and to view John's tribute page, please visit volkleber.com
