John Gasparic Obituary

Beloved husband of 51 years to Judith L. "Judy" Gasparic (nee Obrinchak), whom he married on May 25, 1974, loving father of Carrie (Robert) Rubin of Elmhurst, IL and David (Linda Hanan) Gasparic of Chicago, IL, adored grandfather of Sophia and Samuel Rubin, devoted son of the late John and Helen (nee Kramerich), son-in-law of the late Stephen and Sophie Obrinchak, dear brother of the late Eileen (the late Allen) Altgilbers, brother-in-law of Mary Ann (Dennis) Kapinus of Plainfield, IL, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.
John grew up in Joliet, IL, was a member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, attended Joliet Catholic High School and graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1962. He attended Joliet Junior College and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
John retired from Rockwell Automation after spending 31 years selling IRD vibration instrumentation, services, and training.
John enjoyed going on family vacations and to Chicago Cubs and Bulls games with his son and daughter.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, 9:00-10:30 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd, Naperville, IL 60540, (630) 355-4545.
Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Downers Grove, IL.
