I met John when he was only twelve. One year later, he played at my wedding with the Torries in 1966. Norma was at that wedding at age eight. Twenty-something years later, I introduced John to Norma, and shortly after, they were married. John was a generous, welcoming, and entertaining guy. I thank him for hosting all the holidays and special gatherings for my family. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten. John I thank you for always playing "Tie the Yellow Ribbon" for me at every request, even though it wasn't your favorite! I still can hear you singing in my head.

Everlasting love,
Your sister-in-law - Sandie

John I was deeply saddened to find out that you had passed away. I remember you from years ago when you were a Fitchburg Police Dispatcher. I remember the great sense of humor that you had, we laughed many times while you worked there. I never thanked you for your service you were a top-notch dispatcher, always concerned about the Fitchburg Community. I also remember stopping by your home, while Dennis Banville was building your new deck. THANK YOU JOHN FOR YOUR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY. All those that were friends with you will miss you and are saddened by your passing. May God bless you always. You will always be remembered in many ways, the best was the fantastic keyboard player, EVER.

To Norma and the rest of John's family. My deepest sympathy on the loss of John. He was a great guy and I can't begin to tell you how many wonderful memories I have of him and the bands, especially the great times at Pal Joey's. I'm sure that he is playing and singing with the angels in Heaven now.

The memories span over 5 decades of visits to the family home. John and his music accompanied by Dennis brought such life to all the parties. John never stopped, and always mastered
whatever he did. May God rest his soul with eternal peace and bless his entire family in this time if grief.

Dear Norma, Claudia, Haley, Tori, and Russell,
What an amazing man and a wonderful, welcoming human being John always was to everyone. His generous ways, advice, humor, and kindness will be missed. John's love for music was infectious. He was a loving soul mate, Norma, a fervent role model, Haley, Tori & Russell, and a caring brother, Claudia. He was one in a million. May John's soul rest in eternal peace and may the memories we have from his wonderful ways be a comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Thinking of you all at this very difficult time.

To John's Family: I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. John was a good friend & team mate on our FHS football team. Though I had not seen John for a long time, his passing has brought back a flood of good memories. I will remember him as always wearing a smile on his face making people laugh and enjoy each other's company. As a gifted piano player, I especially recall watching the joy in him entertaining people with his music, as well as a few sing-alongs with friends. He will be missed by all who had the chance know him. Rest in peace my friend.
