John Osborne Obituary

John was a member of the United Auto Workers, Fortville F & AM Lodge No. 207, and American Legion Post 391. John enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and had attended the Fortville Church of the Nazarene.
John is survived by wife of over 79 years, Thelma (Hicks) Osborne, brothers: Sonny (Patricia) Osborne of Corbin, KY, Jimmy Osborne of Harlan, KY, sisters: Charlene Yount of East Bernstadt, KY and Colie (Philip) Perkins of Middletown, OH as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
A funeral to celebrate John's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial with military honors will take place at Eden Cemetery, Greenfield, Indiana.
