John Tuckey

John Lynn Tuckey passed away peacefully at the age of 65 in Tooele, Utah, on June 25, 2025. John was born August 28, 1959, to Sharon Tuckey and Elijah Broadhead. He was later adopted by his grandparents, Florence and James Tuckey. He grew up in Kearns and spent most of his high school days on the swim team, he loved swimming and diving. He won many awards for his participation on the swim team at Kearns High. John was a marine in his heart, although he didn't fulfill this dream to the fullest he loved the time he spent as one.
John loved his children Amber (Brandon), James (Gina), Mandi (Chris), his 5 grandchildren, and his 2 great-grandchildren that he just absolutely adored. Most summers he could be found at mile marker 19 on Utah Lake cat fishing, that was his passion. He loved to fish, hunt, and was an avid dog lover as well. When John was not hunting, fishing or spending time with friends or family you would know he was on the open road driving an eighteen-wheeler as he did most of his life.
He is now re-united in heaven with the love of his life Debbie Slater.
A celebration of Life (Fish Fry) will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, beginning at 2pm, at Willow Park campground, 2998 West 300 North, Lehi, Utah.
