Johnny Lee Aldridge Sr., age 60, of River Falls, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence in River Falls. Johnny was born on July 18, 1962 to George and Oralee (Dimming) Aldridge in Memphis, Tennessee. Johnny graduated from George Washington Carver High with the class of 1981. He enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. in 1981 and served until 1988. On July 13, 2010, Johnny married the love of his life Melissa Pennel in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Johnny's pride and joy in this world was his grandchildren, he loved them fiercely and enjoyed spending anytime he could with them. He was also particularly fond of the Tennessee Titans, never missing a game. Johnny found success in helping anyone when he could. Johnny was a loving Husband, Father and PawPaw. He will be greatly missed.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Aldridge; children: Olivia Aldridge, Johnny Aldridge Jr., Jessica Aldridge, Steven Russell, Jessica Krumrey, and Joseph Viellieu; grandchildren: Faith, Daryll Jr., Savanah, Ry'le, Jordyn, Tany'jah, Alec, Lisa, Nataleigh, Jayden, and Maliyah; great- grandchildren: Adrienne; siblings: Jesse (Lana) Dimming, and Mae Ola Coger; and ex-wife Patricia Russell. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Aldridge and six siblings.
Funeral service for Johnny Aldridge will be 12:00p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services: 225 South 3 Street, River Falls, WI 54022. Visitation will start at 10:00am until the service. A Private Burial honoring his dedicated service to our country in the United States Marine Corp will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
