Mr. Jose Luis Rodriguez, 58, affectionately known as "Tito", was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Tito went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with leukemia. He was the loving husband of Johanna Rodriguez.
He was born February 5, 1966 in Utuado, PR to the late Jose Guillermo and Maria (Lugo) Rodriguez.
He rededicated his life to the Lord in his last few months of life. His faith and his zeal for Jesus was an inspiration to his entire family. He loved solving problems no matter how big or small, if he could find a way to fix something he would get a kick out of it. Tito was also a talented guitarist and pianist who loved worshipping the Lord and reading the Bible. Tito loved spending time with his family playing checkers and other games. He was a committed and hardworking man and previously worked as a field technician. He found joy in using his gifts as a handyman to help his family with household projects. If it was something he could fix, tear down, build or put back together, that was his thing. He desired to obtain an OSHA license in order to fix houses but never had the opportunity. Tito was selfless and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it.
Tito is survived by his wife of 16 years, Johanna, his children; Angel (Misey), Jahnesha, and Joshua, 3 grandchildren; his siblings; Francisco, Maria (Frankie), Carmen (Jose), Julia (Tony), Miguel (Eva), Gerardo (Sol), Juan (Nilda), George (Luz), nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tito's family will never forget his contagious smile, his resilience, his sense of humor, and his caring nature. In the words of his son Angel, he was truly their Superman.
