Lindquist Mortuary - LaytonJoseph William Comish, born on May 16, 1942, in Grace, Idaho, peacefully passed away on August 19, 2025, in Layton, Utah. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend, whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He graduated from Grace High School in Grace, Idaho, before continuing his education at Utah State University.
His commitment to service was evident in his military career, where he proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1978. This period of his life reflected his dedication and love for his country.
He is survived by his three sons, Richard O. Kimball, Michael D. Comish, and William G. Comish, who carry forward his legacy with pride. His siblings, brother Robert Comish and sister Pauline Bassett, also survive him, cherishing the memories they created together as a family.
Joseph was preceded in death by Kathryn Comish and his sister Janet Windley.
A service to honor Joseph will take place on September 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery in Kaysville, Utah.
Services entrusted to Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
