He was always interested in the Fire Services. He was a friend of the firemen! Joe would always volunteer to help with rolling the hoses after a fire or practice.
He was preceded in death by his mother Geneva Frances Raper (Linton) and father Carl Edwin Raper, brother Carl Junior Raper and sister Rae Carol Tucker.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Joyce Raper, sister Peggy Colston, sister Malinda Wyler, brother Gary Raper, family friend James Patrick as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be grave side services at the family convenience at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
Don Catchen Funeral Home in Elsmere KY is assisting the family.
