Obituary of Joseph "Joe" Russell Seybold Jr.
Joseph "Joe" Russell Seybold, Jr., 72, husband of Roberta Moore Seybold, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born in Lexington, KY on November 17, 1951, to the late Shirley Patrick and Joesph Russell Seybold, Sr. Joe had worked as a property manager for Saint Joseph.
Joe was as avid Kentucky Wildcat fan and loved attending away football games. For over 35 years he attended the Carter's annual Derby party. His best times were puttering around his yard and swimming pool. His greatest love, besides his wife, were his cherished dogs Targus, Kimba, Morgan, and newly rescued Penny. Joe was an organ donor and gifted his eyes to K.O.D.A.
In addition to his wife, Roberta, those left to cherish his memory includes his sister, Carol Graff; sister-in-law, Millie (Thom) Marshall; nieces, Jessica Graff, Stefanie Moore; and nephews, Rob Graff, Trent Marshall, Travis Marshall, and Scott Moore.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:30am, Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, with Kory Wilcoxson officiating, as well as, remarks from family friend, Ann Coleman. Visitation will start at 10am until the time of service. Graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville, KY. Serving as casket bearers will be Trent Marshall, Travis Marshall, Scott Moore, and Rob Graff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, K.O.D.A, or the Lexington Humane Society.
