It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joshua Joseph Dyer, who departed from this World on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Marcus and Nancy Dyer, Josh's presence illuminated the lives of all who knew him.
Josh was a man of many passions, his heart intertwined with the pages of comic books, finding joy in the universes of both DC and Marvel. However, it was the dark, enigmatic allure of Batman that captured his imagination most. His love for these stories reflected his own strength and unwavering determination.
Among his interests, Josh held a deep fascination for snakes and the intricate world of herpetology. His enthusiasm and knowledge about these creatures were contagious, sparking curiosity in those around him. Whether discussing Indiana University basketball or cheering passionately for the Philadelphia Eagles, his dedication to his teams was unwavering.
Yet, beyond his interests lay the essence of Josh – a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished son. He cultivated a sanctuary of laughter, his infectious smile lighting up the room and bringing solace to those in need. His kindness knew no bounds, and his quick wit uplifted spirits in moments of both joy and sorrow.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda; children, Raegan and Mason Jackson; and step-son, Brady Platt; with many extended family, and a multitude of friends whose lives he enriched with his presence.
