Joshua Joel Loane

Joshua Joel Loane, 44, of Bangor, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Born September 24, 1979, in Easton, PA, he was the son of Robert Caird Loane, Sr., of Stroudsburg, and the late Nadine Wanamaker Loane.
He graduated from Easton Area High School, Class of 1997 and received an associate's degree in collision repair technology/metal fabrication from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
A talented fabricator, Joshua dedicated his life to building trucks and perfecting his craft. Beginning in 2022, he applied his incredible craftsmanship, his love and enthusiasm for automobile customization and his generous spirit to teaching Automotive Collision Repair at the Career Institute of Technology in Easton. He was loved and appreciated by students and colleagues alike.
Joshua loved the thrill of two wheels and was an avid bicyclist and motorcyclist. He had ridden every trail at Jacobsburg and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail access near his home. He and his partner, Kayla, frequently partook in adventure-seeking and spent their free time exploring mountains, rivers and lakes in Pennsylvania and New England. A friend to all, humans and animals alike, Joshua shared a very close bond with the dogs he had over the course of his lifetime. His many close friends regard him as the kindest person they have ever known.
He was a proud minitrucker and founding member of Kaotic Kustomz and Lasting Impressions, as well as a member of the club Relaxed Atmosphere.
In addition to his father, Robert Caird Loane, Sr., he is survived by a brother, Robert Caird Loane, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, of Lower Nazareth Township; a sister, Katie Danielle Loane, of Easton; a niece, Daisy Loane; his partner, Kayla Bree Gibbons; friends, Mr. & Mrs. Dan Evans; stepdaughter, Orianna Erin Marie Mondello; and many loving friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm, Friday, September 13th in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Memorial calling hours will be held from 2-4pm Friday in the funeral home. Offer online at www.strunkfh.com.
