Joyce Frances Eno (Kerwin), aged 77, passed away on April 5, 2025 at home in Mansfield, MA with her Children and Grandchildren. Born on December 23, 1947, Joyce was born and raised in Brockton, MA, graduating from Brockton High School. Later she furthered her education attending Bridgewater State College, UMass Boston, and Northeastern University to fulfill her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.
During her Nursing career she was employed by the VA Hospital, Greenery Rehab Center, and Brockton VNA, where she left a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues.
Joyce had a passion for history and travel and was determined to pass the passion onto her kids and grandkids and she succeeded. She enjoyed every moment on her family vacations all across the United States and Europe. Her other passion was genealogy and was always eager to uncover and share and preserve her familys history.
Joyce is survived by her son, Jason William Eno and his wife, Susan Anne Eno; daughter, Stacy Patricia Madden and her husband, Eric Thomas Madden; grandchildren, Patrick Sean and Colin Thomas Madden, Lexie Anne and Hannah Elizabeth Eno, all residents of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her son, Sean Darcy Eno; her parents, John Thomas and Mildred Frances (Davis) Kerwin; her sister, Barbara Ann Garland; her brother, Joel James Kerwin; and her former husband, William Norman Eno.
A Graveside service, lead by Pastor David Braxton, will be held at 2 p.m.on June 6, 2025, at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St, Brockton, MA 02301.A Celebration of Life will immediately follow for family and friends at Oak Ames Memorial Hall, North Easton, MA 02356.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Old Colony Hospice and Palliative Care, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379, in memory of Joyce.
