Survivors: Daughter Patricia Kester of Allentown; sons William Kester Jr. and his companion Brenda DeRosa of Emmaus, Michael Kester and his wife Terral of Allentown; grandchildren Jason Kester, Stephanie Gerlette, Brian Harris; great grandchildren Braiden Gerlette, Alex Harris, Marley Harris and Braydon Harris; sisters Lillian Kelson of TN, Emma Frace of Nazareth, Kathann Kelson of Mt. Bethel, brother George Hummer of Saylorsburg. She was predeceased by a daughter Kristine, granddaughter Tracy Harris, sisters Joan Pysher, Patricia Jones, Gloria Rohrbach, brother Andrew Hummer.
Services will be private at the request of Joyce.

Dear Pat and family. We are so sorry for your loss of your dear Mom. Joyce was such a sweet lady. I will remember the times we spent on holidays. And her always bringing that delicious green coffee cake. She was kind enough to share that recipe with me. And everytime I make that cake she will be in my thoughts. Joyce, The first day we met,we klick right of the bat. We had some fun times. Going to Alburtis to listen to country music, and watching you and Bill play bingo. And sneaking to the Casino.. Going to lunch,
And we did much more.
I will always hold a special place in my heart for You.. . Love You Mom
