Judith Ann Boyd passed away peacefully and entered the eternal presence of her Saviour on May 9th, 2025, at the age of 78. She demonstrated grace and lived out a deep faith throughout her diagnosis and challenging life circumstances facing Parkinson's disease. Judy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and friend until the very end.

The youngest of four children born to George Tiller and Laura (Barnes) Tiller, Judy was born on September 24, 1946, at home in Lexington, Oklahoma. After moving with her family to Norman in 1950, Judy attended Washington Elementary, Central Junior High, and graduated from Norman High School in 1964. She loved music and was always a member of the choir, including the girls' trio and the girls' quartet. She shared this love of song with her children and grandchildren.

In 1966 Judy married her best friend, Ron Minnix, with whom she raised two daughters, Lori & Julie. They were active members of First Baptist Church, and she began her career in banking and financial services for Security National Bank in Norman. Another career highlight included owning and managing two Norman retail stores, The Owl's Nest and Chadwick's in Sooner Fashion Mall. After divorcing Ron, Judy spent the last 22 years of her career at the Arvest Bank Credit Card Center.

As was written in the stars, Judy met and fell in love with William "Bill" Boyd in 1993. They were married in July 1994 and spent almost 31 years together as partners in all of life's joys and trials. Judy and Bill loved to travel, spend time with their friends and their church small group, and follow along with all the grandkids' games and performances over the years. We will fondly remember spending time at "Mimi and Bill's house" - reminiscing about family birthday dinners and holidays. And we will hold onto scripture and church hymns that remind us of her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Glenelle and Voncille, and her first husband, Ron. She is survived by her dear husband, Bill Boyd; two daughters, Lori (Rob) Kemmet and Julie (Lance) Knight; five grandchildren, Kate, Bo (Maddie), and Meg Kemmet and Nathan and Lauren Knight; one great-grandson, Hunter Kemmet; two stepdaughters, Amber (Tom) Pringle and Kacey (Josh) Komarek; seven step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Her family brought her more joy than she could have ever imagined.

A visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Moore Funeral and Cremation. Her funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Summit Church in Norman, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the thoughtful direction of Moore Funeral and Cremation.
