It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Judith C. Scott (Ranieri). Judy passed away on October 17th surrounded by family.
Judy was born on January 30, 1945 in the city of Philadelphia. Judy graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame Rittenhouse Square in 1963
In 1964 Judy met Barry Scott and they were married in 1965. They spent 60 beautiful years together.
Family came first for Judy. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend. Her passion for cooking would bring family and friends to her home. Sunday dinners were a sacred tradition. Her Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes was everyone's favorite day of the year. The countless hours spent around her dining room table sharing stories and laughter are memories we will cherish forever.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Barry Scott Jr.
She is survived by her husband Barry Scott Sr., daughter Sandra Monahan (Scott), her son-in-law Joseph Monahan, her grandchildren Scott Monahan, Andrew (AJ) Monahan, Mara Monahan, her sister-in-law Janice Gentile (Scott) and brother-in-law Rick Gentile
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10:00am - 10:45am in The Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. Funeral mass will be at 11am followed by interment in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
