Justin Cole Fester

Justin Cole Fester was born on October 24, 1986 in Tomball, TX and passed away on June 8, 2024 in Lea County, New Mexico.
Justin was a 2005 graduate of Tomball High School and went on to get a Criminal Justice Degree in 2009 at Sam Houston State University. He was a proud Bearkat.
Justin lived big and loved bigger. He never knew a stranger and once you met him, he considered you a friend. Justin was most happy when he was surrounded by his family and friends. Justin and Meghan were married on November 2, 2013. Justin was devoted to Meghan. They had 3 sons that brought him so much pride and joy. He was an amazing father to Lantz, Cooper and Jesse.
Justin's love for people and his community was evident over his twelve plus years in law enforcement. When Justin left full time law enforcement, he stayed on as a reserve deputy with Walker County Pct. 3 Constable and Trinity County Sheriff's office.
Justin worked full time for Patterson-UTI as a Derrick Hand and became close friends with several of his coworkers.
Justin didn't like to be idle. He was also a real estate agent with The Broker in Huntsville, TX. Many who he worked with, selling or buying houses, considered him a friend even after the sale was complete.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Justin is survived by his father, Joseph Richard Fester and mother, Jane Oeffner Fester. He also leaves behind his wife, Meghan Alexandra Fester and 3 sons, Lantz Austin, Cooper Jaxon, and Jesse Wayne. Justin had one sister Erika Gayle Baker, brother in-law, Brian Baker and nieces Kristina and Briana Baker. He will also be missed greatly by his in-laws, Terry and Rose Woolever and brother in-law, Zachery Woolever. There are so many friends Justin considered a brother or a sister and loved like family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sam Houston Museum/Gibbs Conference Hall (Located on the lower level of the Walker Education Center) 1402 19th St., Huntsville, Texas 77340. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
