Karl Martin Zielinski, age 39 of Marine City, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2023.
He was born on January 25, 1984 in Roseville.
Karl was the light of many lives. He had the sweetest heart and the kindest soul. His passion was playing his guitar, which he was inspired to play from his uncle Mark. Karl was a hard worker, completing school and becoming a roofer for most of his working career, and recently completing all his schooling for Carpentry. Karl also loved music, his family, and his dogs. Family was a big part of Karl's life whether it was fishing with his father, running across the street to his aunt Silvia and uncle Mark's or going up north with the whole family, he had special bonds with each and every one of them. His mom was his best friend and his safe place. Karl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Hynes, sister Rebecca Zielinski, 2 very special uncles, Douglas (Tracey) Zielinski and their daughter, Madison, Mark (Silvia) Hynes and their children, Jason and Benjamin; grandfather, Robert Hynes, along with many other beloved family members; Julie (Dave) Rivard, their children, Natalie and Nick; Annette Zielinski, children, Aaron, Scott, Donnie and Dana; Fred (Kimberly) Rettinger, children, Alicia and Victoria; Tom (Gina) Shinneman, their daughter, Lindsey; Jim (Denise) Shinneman, children, Christopher and Kymberlie; Kenny (Claudia) Mason, children, Justin and Colin; Elizabeth Hynes (Anthony Tocco), children, Robert, Michael and Ashley; Margaret (Russell) Nelson, children, Jessica and Mary; Mari Ann Hynes, daughter, Shelby; Susie (Scott) Clark, children, Savannah and Sammy and many more family members and friends.
Karl was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Zielinski, grandparents, Beverly Hynes, Gertrude and Eugene Zielinski and uncle, Donald Zielinski.
A celebration of Karl's life at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron.
