Funeral services for Katherine Boyett, 92, will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, September 12, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Pastor Ricky Baker will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. A visitation will be Friday at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Katherine was born on August 26, 1933 in Cloutierville, Louisiana and passed away on September 9, 2025 in Monroe, surrounded by family. She worked at Selig Manufacturing for many years and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. Katherine was preceded in death by granddaughter, Nicole Crabtree; parents, Mack and Katherine Lacaze; brother, Wesley Lacaze and sister-in-law Helen; sisters, Donna Harwell, Jovinie Daniel, Betty Ann Bolton, Katie Kanehl; and niece, Doris Bass.
Katherine is survived by her son, Toney Crabtree, Monroe; son, David Crabtree and wife Cindy, Bethpage, TN; daughter, Nancy McQuillin and husband Jimmy, Sterlington; son, Charles Boyett and wife Madeline, Westminster, MD; sister, Betty Kerry, West Monroe; special daughter-in-love, Joann Crabtree, Arkansas; grandchildren, Toney Crabtree, Jr., Steven Crabtree, Brandon Crabtree, Christina Crabtree, Shelley Monsour, Kenny McQuillin, Jerry McQuillin, Jamie Theodos, Abigail Rhodes-Boyett, Hannah Rhodes-Boyett, Daniel Crabtree, Leslie Nettles, Misty Jones and Anthony Nettles; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.
